Gari Melcher Complex

KGS was contracted by Stafford County School District to replace the roof on this building. The project consisted of complete removal of the existing roof system on the flat and sloped portions of the building and the installation of new tapered insulation and a built up roof system with the cap ply being a solar reflective cap sheet. The sloped portion consisted of the removal of the existing metal panels and gutter system and the installation of new metal standing seam panels and a new gutter system custom fabricated by KGS’s metal crew. We also performed tuck pointing on the chimneys, installed through wall flashing and performed EIFS repairs.
