Pavilion on the Park

This project was a full roof replacement completed in 2010. KGS removed the existing roof system composed of built up roofing overlaid with foam and installed an adhered ¼” per foot tapered insulation system with a primed dens deck cover board. We than installed a two ply modified bitumen membrane system. Due to the perimeter height of the tapered insulation system KGS constructed a new parapet wall around the outside perimeter of the roof and covered it with a two ply flashing system and new coping cap. We also installed new through wall flashings at penthouse locations. This project also involved the installation of new drains and the painting of all roof top equipment.
